The World’s View of the United States
Living in the United States, we have grown accustomed to the
continuous flow of political rhetoric. Through traditional means of
broadcast news and by the various forms of social media, the
almost daily “surprises” we’ve been experiencing can now be
considered “business as usual”. Whether friend or foe, the rest of
the world may view this rhetoric as offensive and confrontational.
As many Americans do, individually or though U.S. based entities,
own assets (real estate or otherwise), abroad. How might this
ongoing barrage of political news influence their decision making
or direction of their respective international business strategies
going forward? Keeping your personal politics aside, in detail,
identify and rationalize what may be some visible signs and
indications of current or forthcoming fear, in any specific sector of
real estate outside of the United States
