Terrorism through agriculture and animals in the USA
Animals and plants have the capability of posing as threats and risks to the prosperity and existence of humankind in the USA. The threats and risks caused by animals and plants are viewed as acts of terrorism on the people. Animals and plants use terror against them by destroying property and lives. Different scenarios of animal and plant terrorism can occur in the USA.
The insect attacks and bites have being a source of an animal attack affecting people and domestic animals’ lives (Tokdemir et al., 2014: 2024 – Essay Writing Service | Write My Essay For Me Without Delay). The insect and animals bite lead to fatalities and injuries on the people. The attack by insects can be stung or bitten by nonvenomous insects or nonvenomous arthropods, thus causing pain or diseases.
The increase of animal population in society leads to increased zoonotic diseases and bacteria affecting people’s health. Zoonotic diseases arise from pathogens, viruses, and bacteria transmitted from animals to people (Katsos et al., 2019: 2024 – Online Assignment Homework Writing Help Service By Expert Research Writers). For instance, rabies as a viral disease is associated with dog bites, leading to inflammation of brains among the people. Animal bites from animals result in damages and fatalities, thus negatively affecting the people.
Forest fires are part of plant terrorism that results in fatalities among the people and the animals. Forest fires are occasional, and they leave devastating losses and damages to people and their property. Forest fires have both direct and indirect negative impacts on people’s lives (Jenkins et al., 2014: 2024 – Essay Writing Service. Custom Essay Services Cheap). In this case, forest fires cause carbon emission, alters forest soil, alters climate, and topography. Therefore, wildfires have negative impacts thus are a threat and risk to the sustainability of life.
Additionally, weeds and plants that have poisonous content spreading into human habitats are a case of plant terrorism (Nentwig, Mebs, and Vila, 2017). For instance, the giant hogweed is poisonous has negative effects on the people causing scars, blisters, or even permanent blindness. Therefore, some poisonous plants unleash chemical warfare on people causing terror, loss, and damage.
