2.7 Proposed data analysis technique(s)

Data collected will then be analysed using multiple regression. With one dependent variable is the parental knowledge about their adolescents’ drinking intention independent variables being friendships and academic motivation.
WhatsApp groups that participants use. When the responses are collected, they will be cleaned and prepared for Microsoft excel to be transferred onto IBM SPSS to be analysed. An output will be formed through SPSS, and this will be interpreted in the research project.
