This work should be interdisciplinary in scope. You can use the syllabus as a starting point for your research, and formulate a subject that goes beyond it by drawing on material from other disciplines, including, for example, history, politics, music, theater, film, art history, medicine, anthropology, and economics.
You may also make use of critical, historical, theoretical, or biographical sources. Explore the kind of debates that have surrounded your work and formulate your own thesis or approach.
