Code switching is something that is incredibly real and many people find themselves doing in order to assimilate to a dominant group. There are many examples of code switching. While it is often attributed to multiple languages, it can be done with accents, terminology, and much more.  Take some time to review the following piece from NPR around the reasons people code switch (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.. 
Throughout this week, we have talked about conflict. Code switching is absolutely an example of intercultural conflict. As you read through the article, think about a time where you had to code switch.
