Develop an ethical dilemma that you would like your employees to respond to. It should be specific to your company’s line of work and your ethical concerns. A good ethical dilemma will be one that is complicated and involves trade-offs based on competing values and dilemmas. Your goal is to make your employees realize that ethics is not straight-forward, and they need to think hard about how to be ethical. Your dilemma should therefore pit truth versus loyalty, or individual versus community interests, or short-term versus long-term costs/benefits, or justice versus mercy.
