Students are to undertake the assignment in groups of five members and to present their findings in writing.
Each group is required to prepare a written report not to exceed 15 typed, double-spaced, A4-sized pages, including any tables and charts. References, footnotes, endnotes, appendices, etc., are not included in the 15-page limit. Marks are to be deducted for going over this limit.
The report should have a title page that includes a listing of group members, the tutorial they are enrolled in and the tutor’s name. The title page is attached with this document for you to use. Make sure that every group member has to sign and date the cover page to verify that the assignment is their own original work.
The group assignment is due in tutorial on 2 June 2016: 2024 – Do my homework – Help write my assignment online. Before submitting in class, you will need to lodge your assignment electronically through Turnitin Assignments on UTSOnline to generate the Turnitin report and the Similarity Report. Please note that you should only lodge your assignment through Turnitin once, otherwise your subsequent Turnitin report will be showing 99.9% plagiarism. Evidence of plagiarism will mean automatic failure in this assessment component.
Please submit ALL of the following documents:
[1] The hardcopy of the written assignment;
[2] The hardcopy of the summary page showing the Similarity Index;
[3] The full Turnitin report which contains the full assignment with the highlighted sentences/paragraphs that are considered to be similar to other resources.
Evaluation of the written report is based on quality of analysis and synthesis (65%), quality of organisation (15%) and style (20%). Refer to the Grading Criteria for Group Assignments below for details. Bonus points may be awarded for extremely innovative or original analysis and/or presentation of the written report.
Should there be any DISAGREEMENT with respect to the contribution made by group members, please ensure that EACH group member complete and submit the Peer Group Evaluation Form below for the lecturer’s consideration.
