and Ace homework tutors – APA 7th Referencing. Refer back to the material included in the Seminar slides, available via your module ELE page.

journals/books/e-library/databases (use of ‘random’ websites, e.g. mindtools, ukessays, tutor2u etc. is penalised).
START OFF WITH THE RECOMMENDED READINGS from ELE (which are recommended for a reason!). You can use
theories from all the topics covered in the module (both terms). Cross-disciplinary studies are encouraged but
remember that we want to assess what you have learnt in THIS module!

➔ Section headings and in-text citations count towards the word-count.
WHY are you being asked to
show your strategic
management skills?
➔ You need to demonstrate your ability to foresee the impact of
strategic decision making and evaluate companies’ strategic thinking
(good and bad) by applying module literature. Finally, you should
show how to be more strategic in your recommendations
(underpinned by module literature/theories).
➔ Fully achieve the module ILOs (see page 3).
WHO are you writing for? ➔ This is a BUSINESS REPORT, imagine you are writing it for a board of
directors.
➔ We want to see evidence that you can apply THIS module’s theories
and knowledge to the benefit of organisations.
HOW are you asked to write? ➔ Business Report writing is different to reflective writing: here you are
being critical but not expressing emotions and feelings. Hence the
writing will be more objective (rather than subjective) and the ‘I’
pronoun is NOT indicated. Favour the use of the third person.
WHEN is the deadline for the
final submission?
➔ The report is due in BART by 3/05/2023 by 3pm.
