In this regard, the fact that the exit is fully enclosed and separated from the other interior spaces by a fire-resistance-rated consumption is interesting. This fact indicates that persons that are at the exit point cannot be affected by fire, thus maximizing their safety. Additionally, the fact that the area of refuge has preventive and protective measures to prevent smoke is interesting. Protection of the area from smoke is an appropriate safety measure ensuring that lives are effectively protected in the event of a fire.

1. What are the exit discharge safety measures to ensure that there are no commotions as people make their way out of the fire?
2. Does the mean of egress incorporate automatic means of evacuating people in the case of an emergency?
Question Two
a. Interesting things about PLUMBING REQUIREMENTS.
There are interesting plumbing requirements that I had no information about. In this regard, the requirement that the controls for toilet faucets should not allow the wrists’ twisting and that they only need to be operated with one hand. This requirement is vital in ensuring the efficiency of the toilet users. Additionally, the plumbing requirement that water supply and drain pipes should be insulated or protected to prevent contact with the users is interesting. This requirement enhances the safety of the lavatory users.
b. Questions about PLUMBING REQUIREMENTS.
1. What is the need of allowing the toilet faucet (push or sensor type) to remain open after use for 10 seconds since it results in wastage of water?
2. What is the essence of placing the flushing level to a maximum of 48 inches?
